Suté Iwar comes back with a new single titled ‘alright ok’, following the release of his album 199X last year.
This is his first song under London and Johannesburg-based label Outer South.
The amazing vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and producer from Nigeria, Suté Iwar, is one of Afro-fusion’s most unique voices and he has worked on developing his unique sound, by learning various instruments and going to specialized music schools.
Suté Iwar dropped his first mixtape ‘JELI’ at the age of 15 in 2014. ‘alright, ok’ follows an afro-fusion technique with bits of instrumentals you can only catch if you really pay attention. The song describes an image of two people being in love, but still facing challenges. The song presents concepts of uncertainty and reassurance – something we can all surely relate to.
This song definitely fits well with radio play and on a range of playlists, both in Nigeria and overseas. Suté will release his next full-length project, titled ULTRALIGHT later this year, via Outer South.
