Ghanaian based Sierra Leonean rapper Skillz8Figure drops visuals for new single “Champagne” features Quamina MP and Nigeria’s Prettyboy D-O.
The single is off Tema-based music collective Ground Up Chale’s compilation album dubbed: “Ye Wo Abonten“.
Directed by Yaw Phanta, the video combines scenes shot on the streets of Ghana and Nigeria, depicting the hustle from the ground up whilst highlighting West African street fashion and culture.
The video opens with Skillz8Figure performing whilst staring at a mirror, reflecting and making a toast to his come up, which has been a cocktail of successes, trials, and tribulations.
Quamina MP exudes confidence as he performs his verse on a bike, whereas Prettyboy D-O delivers his verse in a tattoo shop whilst getting a new ink job.
