M.anifest Is Out With His Highly-Anticipated EP, “The Gamble”

Ghanaian Rapper M.anifest, has had a good year. He scored his first Tim Westwood interview, got featured on Burna Boy’s Grammy-nominated album and performed at the MTV Europe Music Awards. He is now out with his very anticipated EP “The Gamble”.

M.anifest teased the drop of the EP with two lead singles “Big Mad” featuring Simi and “Tomorrow” with Burna Boy. After a listening session organized by Boomplay on Wednesday, the godMC released the body of work.

As we predicted in our review of the artwork, the 7-track EP is love-themed. It touches on the provocations one has to go through in a relationship. With the release of “Big Mad” and “Tomorrow“, one could easily assume what the focal point of the project would be. The Worlasi and Kojey Radical featured “Cucaracha” sways a bit from the general theme, serving as the perfect interlude. It’s always a lituation when M.anifest connects with Worlasi.

Bayku, Kojey Radical, Moelogo, B4bonah and Worlasi are the other artistes to be featured on the EP besides Burna Boy and Simi. “The Gamble” is a follow up to the 2016 “Nowhere Cool” album. It’s something for us to chew on whiles we wait for his second album in 2020 “GMT (Ghana Man Time)”.

M.anifest is getting ready to host the third installment of his annual music concert “Manifestivities” in December.
