Kwesi TumTum releases ‘Agye Nyame‘, the amapiano inspired new song featuring GemV.
Kwesi TumTum, whose real name is Zoltan Ohemeng-Boakye, got inspired to do music at a young age. Growing up in a large and supportive family, he got exposed to a lot of experiences and cultures that influence the direction of his music.
According to Kwesi TumTum, Agye Nyame is an anthem, a call to action. “It is the vibe that perks you up and gets you going, be it at the lounge or at the club or just turning up at home and safely indoors.” He features new artiste GemV formerly known as Gamffy (Honey Bee) on this amapiano influenced song. Kwesi takes inspiration from amapiano, the ongoing trending sound of South Africa that has highlighted artistes such as Kabza De Small, JazziDisciples and DJ Maphorisa.
Just in time for summer, the amapiano-infused jam is intended to be an anthem for turning up, dancing and having fun with friends and loved ones like there is no tomorrow.
