Idahossa Grapples With Betrayal & Broken Promises On His New Song “Inside”

Idahossa

Promising Ghanaian Afrofusion artist Idahossa has released his third single titled “Inside” a follow-up on his 2020 songs “Ocean” and “Anointing”.

From start to finish, “Inside” is filled with astounding lyrics from Idahossa that evoke such emotion, it will leave you nearly breathless. According to Idahossa, it’s an afrobeat ballad to lovers who never were. “This song is for all the times we trusted someone and got our hearts broken for it.

Inside is a song about betrayal, broken promises and walking away, leaving behind heartache and devastation. Idahossa fell madly in love with his lover who eventually let him down. Idahossa attacks the mellow Dicebolt-produced instrumental with laid-back flows and smooth delivery sharing the plans he had for his lover and the pain he felt after this unexpected betrayal from her. Dicebolt is also responsible for the aforementioned ‘Ocean’ song.

Idahossa

“Then I just wanna spend my life with you..”, Idahossa sings as he reminisces and reflects on unrequited love. Idahossa dedicated his life to a woman who always put herself first, and he ended up with nothing. Inside is definitely a song you’ll relate to if you’ve ever been left without a warning and forced to pick up the pieces.
