Gigi Lamayne supports young women on Menstrual Hygiene Day

South African rapper, Gigi Lamayne, showed her support last Saturday, as she celebrated the Menstrual Hygiene Day in Soweto.

On May 28th every year, the importance of good menstrual hygiene management globally is given the spotlight.

In solidarity, the star visited Soweto to share some knowledge with young ladies in the suburb. She spoke about the day on Twitter with this tweet:

“Yesterday was World Menstrual hygiene day And so we visited Soweto to share some knowledge and “could you cups” with the girls. Every young girl deserves a dignified menstrual experience. Help where you can.
