Africa’s hub of business development for Film, Arts, Media and Entertainment – FAME Week Africa – connects the continent to the world, for a second year running.
It is happening at the Cape Town International Convention Centre from August 24th to 28th.
The event comprises sub-events such as MIP Africa, Cape Town International Animation Film Festival, Media and Entertainment Solutions Africa, Muziki Africa and the Emerging Artists Programme.
The event has partnered with the United States as the first guest country to align itself with the creative industry showpiece.
FAME Week Africa event director, Judy Goddard had this to say:
“We are delighted to collaborate with the United States of America. This will bring together film mastery, business acumen and academic leadership to Fame Week Africa, the location to ruminate, discuss and explore new opportunities between the continents.”
