For Teen country-pop and basketball pro Dalton Mauldin, ‘Friends‘ is more than just a song. Released on June 11th via Snafu Records, Friends is the perfect lead single for his impending debut EP.

Dalton began his music journey after experiencing the positive impact social media can have on a musician’s career. Prior to releasing “Nights Without You“, his official debut release, he had shared a number of viral cover videos on his social media pages. These songs garnered over a million views. “Nights Without You” charted on iTunes at #19 and on the country charts, and at #91 in all genres. It currently has 9 million streams on just Apple Music and Spotify.

Dalton Mauldin, the newly signed Snafu Records artiste, returns after a successful EP with a fresh pop track called “Friends.” 

Friends is a catchy pop song that sees an apologetic Dalton reminisce and seek to make amends with his ladylove after breaking her heart. Over subtle guitar strokes and piano progressions, he sings: “If I could go back to the summer when you were my lover, we could try it all again“.
