Burna Boy to Headline the 2022 DStv Delicious International Food & Music Festival

The African Giant, Burna Boy is set to headline this year’s DStv Delicious International Food & Music Festival.

The festival will take place at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit in Midrand, Gauteng, South Africa between the 24th and 25th of September. Burna Boy will be performing on the stage with the electronic dance group, Stereo MCs from Nottingham, UK.

Major League DJz, G-Force, Lerato Kganyago, Lamiez Holworthy, DJ Zinhle and Soul Sista Zane are the disc jockeys for the festival. Thebe, Mdu Masilela, Kabelo Mabalane, Arthur Mafokate, Trompies and Dino Bravo, as well as Stereo MCs would be representing kwaito at the event.

Nokuthula Monaheng, the festival’s media director said, “We are delighted to bring back the DStv Delicious International Food and Music Festival now that we are through this crippling pandemic. The year’s event will be bigger and better, with amazing culinary and musical talent touching down in Mzansi over the Heritage Day weekend for the greatest festival in Africa.”

In related news, Burna Boy is finally out with his sixth studio album “Love, Damini”. The 19-track album comprises the breakup anthem “Last, Last,” which samples Toni Braxton’s “He Wasn’t Man Enough” and features collaborations with Ladysmith Black Mambazo, J Hus, Ed Sheeran, Popcaan, Blxst, Kehlani, J. Balvin, Khalid and Victony.

As a bonus, Burna Boy has also released the visuals for “For My Hand”, his song with Ed Sheeran. The song was first made public when Burna joined Ed at the Wembly Stadium to perform it. It was well received by the fans.
