Black Sherif Shares the Anticipated Second Sermon (Remix) Ft Burna Boy

Black Sherif & Burna Boy

Burna Boy joins rising singer and rapper Black Sherif on the remix of his underground viral hit ‘Second Sermon’, produced by Ghanaian Stallion.

It’s been an exceptional year for the next generation of Ghanaian musicians on the come up and since the original dropped back in July, 19-year-old Black Sherif has cemented himself as one of the front runners. Now, with the African Giant on the remix, this co-sign is proof that the whole world should be taking notice of the burgeoning scene.

Black Sherif broke through earlier this year when he dropped the first and second installments in his ‘Sermon’ freestyle series with the latter gaining over 2 million views in less than 2 weeks. Born and raised in the Ashanti region of Ghana, his cult following is now spreading across the globe as the local and national scenes in his native make headlines around the world. Since his inception in 2019, he has become known for his vast vocal range, his relatable lyrics and his unorthodox flow all highlighting his ability to excel in both singing and rapping. Throughout his back catalog, you witness him confidently fuse Highlife, Afrobeats, Amapiano and Drill as he feels no pressure to stick to one genre.

Now at the summit of his tipping point, all his hard work, graft and courage has accumulated into what will undoubtedly be a long and prosperous career. A shining voice for his generation, Black Sherif has already hinted that he is sitting on an EP’s worth of music that is ready to drop early next year.
