Nasty C’s Album Postponement Aligns with Cassper Nyovest’s “Solomon” Release

Cassper Nyovest and Nasty C

Nasty C’s album delay means that his upcoming release will coincide with Cassper Nyovest’s equally anticipated “Solomon”.

During a recent live video session with fellow South African rapper Casper Nyovest, Nasty C revealed that his impending album, originally scheduled for August 25th, has been pushed back even further to September 15th.

So in case you didn’t know Cassper Nyovest’s long-awaited album “Solomon” is also slated for a September 15th release. Cassper was visibly astonished upon discovering that their albums were both scheduled for release on the same day. Nasty C responded that it would be an intriguing experience for listeners to have two hip-hop albums with distinct approaches released on the same day, a sentiment to which Cassper readily agreed.

Offering further updates on his upcoming release, Spank Daddy shared that he has introduced additional changes and enhancements since his previous update. He attributed the delay to a mix of producers requiring more time than anticipated and the ongoing process of refining the song choices. While the definitive tracklist for the album is still in the works, it’s projected to encompass a range of 16 to 20 tracks.

Regarding the album artwork, despite having considered two options, Nasty C mentioned that he would opt for a new version that includes his family: himself, his girlfriend, and their son. He drew a parallel to Casper Nyovest’s 2020 “A.M.N” (Any Minute Now) album art, which featured a sonogram image of Casper’s son, explaining that he wanted the artwork to hold deep significance. He announced that the updated album art would be unveiled on August 25th, aligning with the album’s new release date. Nasty C also hinted that the album would consist entirely of fresh, unreleased tracks.

It is quite clear this album is of significant importance to Nasty C, who is meticulously refining every aspect to achieve perfection. The repeated postponement has raised concerns among fans about whether the album will be released as promised. Considering that the rapper has been promising an album release since 2021, there’s skepticism about whether it will ever drop.
