1. Amaarae – A Body, A Coffin
During the week, talented Ghanaian singer, Amaarae, was announced as one of the musicians to feature on the soundtrack of Marvel Studios’ impending Black Panther: Wakanda Forever movie. The 3-track Wakanda Forever Prologue single features Tems’ rendition of Bob Marley’s No Woman No Cry, which was featured in the official movie teaser, as well as A Body, A Coffin by Ghanaian singer Amaarae and Soy by Santa Fe Klan.
2. Camidoh – Kaba
Ghanaian singing sensation, Camidoh, is out with a new single titled ‘Kaba’. The song serves as a follow-up to the remix of his hit record, ‘Sugarcane’ which features fellow Ghanaian singer, King Promise and Nigerian musicians, Mayorkun and Darkoo. ‘Kaba’ is a great tune and is definitely set to break some records as well.
3. JAE5 – Propeller (ft Dave and BNXN)
British-Ghanaian record producer and mixing engineer JAE5 has joined forces with British rapper Dave and Nigerian singer, BNXN (fka Buju) on his latest song titled ‘Propeller’. ‘Propeller‘ was produced by JAE5 himself, and it serves as his first official single for the year following the release of his previously released, ‘Who’s True‘ featuring Davido and Tion Wayne. The song came right in time for the summer and deserves to be on your playlist.
4. Shaker – In The Mood
Ghanaian singer and songwriter, Shaker is back on the music scene after a brief pause with a new single titled ‘In The Mood’. The talented musician has been in the music business for quite some time and can boast of amazing collaborations with acts like Sarkodie, E.L, Edem, and many more. ‘In The Mood’ is a fun tune and will be a great addition to your playlist.
5. Shatta Wale – King of Kings
Ghanaian reggae-dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has returned with a new single titled King Of Kings. The dancehall tune which was produced by Shatta Wale himself serves as a follow-up to ‘What Do You Know About Me‘. Shatta Wale has been on a releasing streak and this new impressive tune deserves to be on your playlist.
6. Fancy Gadam – Ungrateful
Ghanaian musical artiste, Fancy Gadam, has released a new bee single titled ‘Ungrateful’. The song serves as a reply to his critics for constantly labeling him ‘ungrateful‘ in the music industry. Fancy Gadam delivered the song in his native Dagbani dialect and it follows his recent single ‘Nje Vuri’. ‘Ungrateful’ was produced by Zulu Beatz.
7. Tripcy – Captivate
Ghanaian musician, Tripcy,,, has released a new song titled ‘Captivate’ and he recruits DJ Neizer, Mega EJ, Skillz 8Figure on this one. The catchy song with an amapiano vibe is one packed collaboration guaranteed to put listeners in a good mood and get them on the dancefloor.
8. Kweku Flick – Bonsam Dollar
Fast rising Ghanaian musician, Kweku Flick is out with a brand new hit titled ‘Bonsam Dollar’. The song is off his newly released EP, ‘King of Melodies’ and serves as the second track off the 7-track project. ‘Bonsam Dollar’ was produced by Apya.
9. Ground Up Chale – Katti (ft. MTiggidy, Kimati & Lalid)
Creative hub and incubator for emerging music artistes, Ground Up Chale is out with a new song titled ‘Katti’ and it features new school rappers, MTiggidy, Kimati, and Lalid. In the song, the trio talk about how much they value loyalty and are willing to cut anyone off from their circle if there’s no trust. ‘Katti’ was produced by CedDidit.
