Global music streaming platform Spotify has announced rising Nigerian singer Ladé as its latest Fresh Finds Africa artiste.
Fresh Finds Africa is a monthly program designed to aid emerging artistes to gain recognition and exposure to help them succeed in the long term. The program also helps to update music lovers with fresh and exciting talents. The musician will headline the Fresh Finds Africa playlist with her hit song “Adulthood Anthem”.

Ladé rose to the limelight after releasing a cover of Simi’s song ‘Duduke’. It received over 20,000 views on social media in 2020 and her hit single “Adulthood Anthem” grew to become one of the most popular songs used for videos on various social media platforms mainly due to its relatability.
