Mafikizolo, DJ Tira among others set to perform at Arise Benefit Concert

An amazing cast of South African acts, including DJ Tira, Mafikizolo, AKA Kwesta have been lined up to perform at the Arist Benefit Concert later this year.

An event organized by the National Arts of Council (NAC) of South Africa, to raise funds for KwaZulu-Natal’s flood victims, will be held at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on June 18th.

The concert is expected to attract about 20,000 fans and seeks to raise an estimated R10 million ($620,000), for the more than 120,000 people that were affected and the surviving families who lost nearly five hundred of their loved ones in the disaster in April.

SAMRO, @nacsouthafrica, @CapassoHub, @OfficialSAMPRA, @ccifsa , @GearhouseSA and @eThekwiniM have come together to bring about The Arise Benefit Concert for those affected by the recent floods in KwaZulu Natal. The concert will take place on June 18, 2022 at Moses Mabhida Stadium.

Other partners involved in the organization of the concert include the Southern African Music Rights Organization  (SAMRO), the Composers, Authors and Publishers Association (CAPASSO) and the South African Music Performance Rights Association (SAMPRA) among others.
